Dr. Idigo has worked as Lead Therapist for Intensive Family Interventions (IFI), and regularly practices psychotherapy, Family Therapy, Individual Therapy and Marriage Counseling. Dr. Idigo is also a certified educator who has worked in the school setting. Dr. Idigo incorporates all her wide, varied experiences into her private practice.
Dr. Idigo uses effective classroom management techniques for children with autism, managing problem behaviors in school – while providing helpful information to parents to help them manage the behaviors in the home. Interpreted Individually Education Plans to best suit the needs of the students.
Geriatric Care Management
Dr. Idigo work includes planning and coordinating care of the elderly and others with physical and/or mental impairment to meet their long term care needs, improve their quality of life; assisting in maintaining their independence for as long as possible. She has worked with persons of old age and their families in managing, rendering and referring various types of health and social care services. Dr. Idigo has been able to accomplish this by combining a working knowledge of health and psychology, human development, family dynamics, public and private resources and funding sources, while advocating for clients throughout the continuum of care.
